Linda Simmons leads a dedicated team of volunteers from the stakes and wards of the LDS Inner City Mission. They've set out to make a difference in the lives of battered and abused women and children.
Women that flee an abusive home take refuge in a number of shelters across the Salt Lake Valley and arrive with literally just the clothes on their backs. That's where Linda and the women of "Hearts Knit Together" come in. They create "Welcome Kits" for both the women and the children that are in desperate need of the basics and a few added comforts.

All of the supplies used in the creation of these "Welcome Kits" are donated by various businesses, religious groups and individuals who want to make a difference. As a company, we decided to donate our empty office basement for Linda and "Hearts Knit Together" to use as a storage area and as a base of operations for creating these "Welcome Kits." Our company believes in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and we strive to follow Jesus when he said: "When ye have done it unto the least of these ... ye have done it unto me."
