50 YEARS - 3 GENERATIONS - THOUSANDS OF MEMORIES
Some people have inherited their grandfathers hazel eyes, knobby knees, or pesky cowlick. The Lambert family inherited the travel gene. Plain and simple, their grandpa passed on his ability to plan the perfect vacation and his passion for seeing the world.
The Story
Just over 50 years ago, Dick Lambert, along with some close friends, decided to charter a flight to New Zealand to take a group of friends and family on a tour of the "Land of the Long White Cloud". Little did Dick realize at the time that he was beginning a travel legacy that would span three generations and would create thousands of precious memories. Dick and his friends had such great success with their New Zealand adventure that they decided to start Beehive Tours & Travel. Dick's son Chris joined the Beehive Team in 1971. Beehive had many years of success, and Chris moved up the ranks to become the Chairman of the Board.
In 1990, Chris decided to start his own company, Destinations, Inc. Now almost two decades later, thousands of friends and clients have experienced the globe, and Destinations, Inc. has seen amazing growth. Chris's sons Rick and Kip joined his team in 1996, infused the business with their youthful enthusiasm, and have now assumed the daily operations of the company.
